BruteSoft appoints Executive Chairman
Taps Neil McGowan, accomplished Silicon Valley executive to bring industry knowledge and experiences to the board.
Los Altos, California - (March 30, 2009) - BruteSoft Inc., today announced that Neil McGowan has been appointed to both the Board of Directors and the Leadership Team.

As a long term and successful executive in Silicon Valley, he has invaluable understanding of strategy formulation and execution, and proven success in sales, marketing and field operations.”

Neil is currently the interim CEO of a technology startup. He was President and COO of C-nario, a software company focused on engineering software for out of home advertising networks. He is also a former Senior VP of International Markets for VeriSign, Inc., and former Sr. VP of Americas Sales and Services for Openwave, Inc.. Neil also held positions as Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing at Kasenna, Inc., a streaming media startup; VP of Sales at Silicon Graphics U.S.; Managing Director and Chairman of Silicon Graphics Sub-Saharan Africa, based in South Africa; and Director of Systems Integration services at Tandem Computers, Inc.
Neil has a B.S. in Computer Science from St. John’s University and is a graduate of Tuck Executive M.B.A. Program at Dartmouth University.
